| Poverty Simulation |

This two hour event is designed to create insight into the state of chronic crisis that consumes so many working poor families. The simulation will be held in the Fellowship Hall of ESBC and will be facilitated by Beth Templeton of Our Eyes Were Opened.
There is a $15 fee per participant and registration is limited to the first 72 people to sign up. |

Ever wondered how you could live healthier? Ever wanted to be a runner but don't know how to get started? Or maybe you just want to meet some new people with a common interest. Join us on Wednesday evenings for wellness classes and a running group. From 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. we'll discuss healthy practices, featuring guest speakers and even cooking demonstrations. Then from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. we'll have running/exercise workshops. This group will be geared for all ability levels and will be a great time for fitness, instruction, encouragement, and (best of all) fellowship. Wear comfortable clothes and walking/running shoes, and be prepared to move!

This is the perfect group for those who enjoy a good movie. We will meet about once a month to go to the cinema, see a film, and then spend a little time afterward to discuss the movie over coffee or a meal. This group is a great way to get to know others in the church, have fun together, and enjoy enriching discussion. |

How can we help people in poverty without enabling them or being taken advantage of? Are we servants or suckers? We'll discuss underlying issues of poverty, discuss practical ways to help people without resources, and even take a poverty tour of Greenville to see firsthand how people in poverty live. Discussions will be driven by the five-part DVD, "Servant or Sucker?" |

Have you ever wondered what people of other faiths or denominations believe? This group will give you the opportunity to ask those questions and get a response "straight from the horse's mouth." We'll have a rabbi, priest, imam, and other guest speakers to dialogue with us about their faith and ours.
There is no cost for this class. Participants will be responsible for theirown food and drinks. |
