WALK TO THE CROSS
Wednesday, April 17 @ 5:30 p.m.
Meet in our parking lot at 5:30 p.m. and ride the bus, or meet at 6:00 pm on the front steps of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church.
Christians across denominational lines will prayer walk the downtown area, stopping at several downtown churches (including Earle Street) to read Scriptures that describe the journey of Jesus to the cross. With the help of police officers who will stop traffic for us, we will silently walk through the city streets, praying as we go, and following someone carrying a large wooden cross. It is a silent witness to the people of the city and a meaningful experience for those who will make the journey through Scripture toward the crucifixion of Jesus.
No regular Wednesday activities at Earle Street on April 17
