Preschoolers and Children
Our Preschool and Children's Ministries consist of the basic building blocks necessary for developing spiritual growth in each child. These basics include weekly Bible study, missions education, and music classes, as well as special activities throughout the year. We invite your children to participate in our ministries.
What Happens on Sundays?
The Preschool Welcome Center and all preschool classrooms are located on the first floor. Preschoolers (infant-kindergarten) are invited to participate in Sunday School during both the 9:15 and 10:30 hours, during which they will hear two different Bible stories and participate in corresponding activities. Older preschoolers (ages 3 and up) can attend the worship service with their parents, and then return to their class following the children’s sermon.
Classrooms for children (grades 1-5) are located on the second floor. Children attend one hour of Sunday School and go to worship with their parents. On the third Sunday of each month, children may attend Children’s Church during worship following the children’s sermon.
What Happens on Wednesdays?
From September through May, music and mission programs (Mission Friends, RAs and GAs) are provided for children ages 3 through grade 5 from 5:45 pm - 7:15 pm. Childcare is provided during this time for infants through age 3.
During the summer months, there are special activities on Wednesday evenings for children in grades 1-5. We also have Mission Friends for children age 3 through K5 and childcare for infants through age 3.
We schedule special events throughout the year for preschoolers and children. These events include Easter Egg Hunts in the spring, pool parties in the summer, Vacation Bible School, and missions activities. Check the website for upcoming events!
