Preschoolers and Children
The Preschool and Children’s Ministry of Earle Street Baptist Church exists to help children develop spiritually, mentally, emotionally and socially into all that God created them to be. The church joins the parents to provide foundational Bible learning upon which a commitment to Christ can be made.
We fulfill this ministry by building relationships with the children and their families and offering sound biblical teaching in every aspect of our programming. Sunday School, Children’s Worship and Wednesday Night Activities are offered on a weekly basis. Camps, Vacation Bible School, and special events round out the many fun and interactive opportunities we offer your child.
Sunday Mornings:
We encourage kids and families of all ages to be part of both Sunday School (9:15) and Worship (10:30).
We hope that you will join us for both hours as we point our preschoolers and children towards Christ!
9:15 - Preschool and Children’s Sunday School
10:30 - Preschool Sunday School Continued and Children’s Worship (first and third Sundays only)
All preschool and children's classes meet on the first floor.
Wednesday Evenings:
6:00 - 7:00 Preschool and Children’s Choirs
Birth-Kindergarteners meet on the first floor in various preschool rooms.
1st-5th grade meet in the Choir Room.
Sunday School
Sunday School provides a small group environment
for kids to build relationships with God and others that is led by faithful men and women who are gifted and passionate teachers of the gospel. Sunday school is designed for kids to grow in their knowledge and understanding of who God is and how much He loves them. We are currently walking through the entirety of Scripture by using the Gospel Project curriculum.
Children's Worship
Children's Worship is for first-fifth graders. We seek to give kids a worship experience that is unique to their age range and includes worship, Christ centered teaching, and a super fun time. This time builds on what they learn in Sunday School as well as teaching Bible skills and what worship really means.
*There are kids worship stations in the Sanctuary that provide children’s bulletins and other resources for your children if they wish to stay in the service.
Age-graded Choirs
Preschool and Children's Choirs sing traditional Christian songs that help children learn worship as well as music skills. Children sing, move, play instruments, and create music each week, learning God’s word through music.
Wednesday Night Activities
Wednesday Night Activities are designed to reiterate Sunday’s lesson in a kid-friendly manner. Our hope is to equip kids for their everyday lives by challenging kids to go deeper into God’s word. Through Scripture memorization, games, and other activities, kids will learn to better understand the Bible as a whole, and how they fit into the bigger story that God is writing. Childcare is provided during this time for infants
through age 3.
Special Events
We schedule special events throughout the year for preschoolers and children. These events include Easter Egg Hunts in the spring, pool parties in the summer, Vacation Bible School, and missions activities. Check the website or the EarleKids Instagram account for upcoming events!
